Helen FlanaganĀ has been incredibly conspicuous by her absence from social media recently, with the formerĀ Coronation StreetĀ star usually having quite the presence on Instagram.
Fans neednāt worry, though, because she returned this weekend with a video posted to her story explaining that sheās been having a turbulent time career-wise thatās left her feeling āanxiousā and āfrustratedā.
āI really have been kind of quiet on my social,ā she started.
āIāve just kind of felt like not sure⦠Iāve not really been sure of myself recently.
āI kind of feel like⦠Iām turning 36 in August, Iāve just done this house move, I really want to act and basically I just want a job at the moment and I feel frustrated in that way.
āI kind of feel likeā¦Iām turning 36 in August, Iāve just done this house move, Iām kind of unsure where I am like, career-wise as well.ā

Helen went on to explain: āI have worked on social media, and itās been my job, like I worked on social media from 28 until, well I am nearly 36, and I genuinely really loved it.
āI loved the creativity of it and self expression and working with other women, Iāve genuinely really really enjoyed it.
She went on to tell viewers that sheās endured a ālot of changeā as she considers relocating her family.

āThereās a lot of change going on, and I donāt know, Iāve just felt a bit weird in myself.
āIām in two minds about moving to London. I was going to buy here then I decided not to buy here so everythingās just been a bit, like, all over the place.
āIāve just felt frustrated with work as well because I really want to act and basically, I just want a job at the moment and feel frustrated in that way.
āSo yeah Iāve just kind of frustrated.ā

Helen has previously spoken about her desire to return to where it all began for her: Coronation Street on a number of occasions, tellingĀ the Echo:
āHonestly if they want me to come back, Iād love to, but [show bosses] just havenāt spoken to me. Everybody always asks me, āWhen are you going back to Corrie? And itās like, āThey havenāt called meā. If you want to call me, thatās great. But they havenāt.ā
āI just really want to concentrate on my acting now. I feel really lucky. All my children are now at school so I want to concentrate on my career.
āIāve been very lucky. Iām just a normal northern, down to earth mum. Iāve been very lucky to have opportunities in the career Iāve had.ā

Fans were previously delighted when Helen reunited with her former on-screen sister,Ā Brooke Vincent, when they both attended a celebration ofĀ International Womenās DayĀ at Salfordās Lowry Hotel.
The annual lunch, geared towards celebrating womenās achievements and resilience, saw guest speakers share inspiring stories and performers take to the stage for an afternoon of entertainment.
Helen released a book earlier this year entitled: Head & Heart: Break-ups, Breakdowns and Being Rosie, in which she discussed her time on the street and experiences since.
