In a heart-wrenching update, Hoda Kotb has issued a powerful plea to the kidnappers of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of her co-host Savannah Guthrie. Last week, Hoda took to Instagram, posting an emotional photo of Savannah kissing her mother on the cheek, alongside a plea: “Bring her home,” accompanied by praying hands and heart emojis. Hoda’s words reflect the urgency and heartbreak surrounding the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, who was last seen on January 31, 2026, from her Tucson, Arizona home.
Hoda Kotb, who stepped in temporarily to fill Savannah’s role on the “Today” show, has been a pillar of support for Savannah and her family as they navigate this agonizing situation. Nancy, 84, was reportedly kidnapped, with ransom notes surfacing that police believe are linked to her disappearance. The search for Nancy has entered its second month, and the Guthrie family has continued to appeal for the public’s help in bringing her home.
“Someone out there knows something that can bring her home,” Savannah pleaded on Friday, her voice tinged with desperation. The Guthrie family has offered a $1 million reward, which has already led to more than 1,500 tips. The FBI has also added a $100,000 reward for information.
As the investigation continues, other co-hosts from the “Today” show, including Al Roker and Craig Melvin, have shown their unwavering support for the Guthrie family. Al posted on Instagram, “We are praying for Savannah and her family and the return of their beloved Mom, Nancy.”
Hoda’s emotional message to the alleged kidnappers has amplified the search, with fans and fellow colleagues rallying behind the Guthrie family. As the investigation progresses, the public waits for any clue that might bring an end to this devastating ordeal.
