Jesse Wood, the ex-husband of Fearne Cotton, has announced he’s expecting his first child with Made In Chelsea star Gemma Gregory. The 49-year-old musician and the 40-year-old reality star shared the happy news in a heartfelt Instagram post, where Gemma proudly showed off her baby bump.
The couple posted sweet pictures, including one with the caption ‘incoming,’ and another showing Jesse and Gemma with the lighthearted caption ‘made by these muppets.’
This baby news may come as a surprise to many, considering Jesse’s recent public struggles. Only months ago, Jesse was candid about his financial woes following his divorce from Fearne. In January, the musician revealed he was living on a tight budget of less than £1,000 per month, struggling to find steady work.
As he appeared in court on a speeding charge, Jesse also opened up about his current situation, revealing that his business was heavily in debt and his savings were dwindling. His company, Rekognition Sound Limited, was £101,562 in the red, and his income had dramatically decreased, with tax returns showing a modest annual income of only £14,000.
Despite his famous rock-and-roll background as the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, Jesse’s financial future remains uncertain. He has no legal claim to the £3.15million house his former wife, Fearne, bought in 2014, as it’s registered solely in her name.
Jesse’s financial problems come after the collapse of his decade-long marriage to Fearne in December 2024, just after the public revelation of her new relationship with television director Elliot Hegarty. Jesse and Fearne share two children together: son Rex, 12, and daughter Honey, nine.
As Jesse steps into a new chapter with Gemma, Fearne has also shared her own personal updates, revealing her lighter blonde locks in a recent social media post.
Jesse and Gemma went public with their relationship in April 2025, and insiders say their bond quickly grew after Jesse’s separation from Fearne. This marks a new beginning for the musician after years of highs and lows.
