The pop star took to TikTok to update fans while sporting an eye patch over her right eye, showing the seriousness of the mishap.
During her anniversary trip with partner Chris Hughes, JoJo was flung from a golf cart when the tires and accelerator got stuck, sending her spinning at speeds up to 25mph. She landed hard on her back and instinctively tucked her neck to protect her head — but even then, she admitted it was a scary moment.
“I’m VERY VERY lucky for how I walked away from this today. I am feeling okay, just sore,” JoJo reassured her fans. Despite the accident, she praised her dance team: “I’ve had to take the week completely off, but my dancers have been absolutely crushing it!!”
The star’s upcoming cruise, running from June 12–15, features live concerts, dance parties, and build-a-bow sessions — leaving her with less than two weeks to rehearse while recovering.
