Katie Price has once again ignited family tensions after a new music debacle involving her husband, Lee Andrews. According to her sister Sophie, Katie’s mother Amy was left “so p****d off” following a public mix-up over a heartfelt song.
Last week, amidst the chaos of Lee’s temporary disappearance, Katie recorded a cover of the classic song Get Here, initially claiming it was a special treat for her mother — a family favourite. During a studio break, she told Amy she had recorded it just for her, and even sent her the track privately.
However, Katie later shared the song online, dedicating it to her missing husband Lee instead. Sophie explained on her podcast, The Katie Price Show: “She was so p****d off right because you put that Reel up… Kate called mum and was like I’ve been in the studio and made this song for you. Then Kate put it up on Instagram and was like, ‘oh it’s for Lee and for the situation.’”
Katie admitted: “I thought, do you know what, these words actually resonate with what’s going on… So then I put it up for Lee,” singing lines including: “You can reach me by sail boat, you can reach me on an airplane.”
The move, while touching for fans of her tumultuous relationship, left Amy furious, highlighting the ongoing tension and the complex dynamics of the Price family.
