Katie Price’s “missing” husband Lee Andrews has been arrested and is currently held in a Dubai prison, his father revealed today, bringing a dramatic twist to the ongoing saga.

The 42-year-old businessman vanished 11 days ago after sending Katie a disturbing video showing him hooded, hands tied, and allegedly “bundled into a van” while trying to travel to London. He also sent a series of texts and voice messages claiming he had been kidnapped.

However, his father Peter, one of the few supporting him in Dubai, told the Daily Mail: “Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge. I’m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today. He is not at my house.”

Dubai authorities initially denied knowledge of Andrews’ whereabouts, while the British Foreign Office reported they could find no trace of him. A police source later confirmed: “Lee Andrews has been arrested.”
The mystery deepened after Andrews appeared active on social media, following a glamorous American woman, Mari Sol, despite being in custody. Reports suggest he is the subject of several arrest warrants, primarily for fraud, with Dubai Police Chief Brigadier Khalid Khalifa al Avadhi confirming multiple cases against him.

Andrews, who has lived in Dubai for 20 years and is known as a bodybuilder, had previously resided with his father Peter in the Satwa district. Locals and gym staff reported not seeing him for weeks, fueling speculation about his sudden disappearance.

Meanwhile, his ex-wife described Andrews as a manipulator and fraudster, claiming he stole from her and others, including an engagement ring now worn by Katie Price. She said: “It’s insane what this man put me through… Going to the airport was very dangerous for him because of all the surveillance cameras. That’s how the authorities finally caught up with him.”
Katie had earlier stated she had given up the search for her husband, leaving fans shocked as the story continues to unfold. Questions remain about the exact charges, where he is being held, and how he was able to maintain contact online during his detention.
