Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’s eldest son, Michael, has once again caught fans’ attention after appearing in new family photos looking almost exactly like his famous father.
The 29-year-old appeared in several snapshots shared on Instagram this week, where viewers quickly noticed his striking resemblance to Mark Consuelos, 54.
Ripa, 55, posted the carousel on Friday as she celebrated a major personal and professional milestone — 25 years on her ABC morning show, Live With Kelly and Mark.

While the post honored Ripa’s long-running success on the show, it was Michael’s appearance that became one of the biggest talking points.

In the photos, Consuelos wore a sleek black suit paired with a matching crew neck shirt as he joined the family for the special celebration.
Michael appeared equally stylish, dressed in a gray suit with a black button-up shirt, making the father-son resemblance even harder to miss.
Both father and son were clean-shaven for the occasion, with their dark hair neatly styled.

Michael wore his hair slicked over to one side and completed his look with transparent-framed eyeglasses.
Kelly and Mark, who have been married for decades, are also parents to daughter Lola, 24, and younger son Joaquin, 22.
The family moment came as Michael surprised his mother during Friday’s broadcast of Live With Kelly and Mark, where Ripa marked her 6,000th episode.
Michael arrived with flowers, creating a touching on-air moment for his proud mother.
Consuelos also pointed out that Michael was just four years old when Ripa first joined the show as co-host alongside the late Regis Philbin.
During his appearance, Michael was asked to reflect on his memories from growing up around the show.
He said there were many moments he could choose from, but one stood out in particular — a swamp tour in Louisiana.
“There’s so many, but if I had to narrow it down to just a handful, I’d say the swamp tour in Louisiana where I threw the snake on you,” Michael recalled.
He added that the moment was “pretty good” and “pretty awesome,” while also joking about how his mother nearly jumped out of the boat.
Michael also remembered the cooking segments, the family holiday specials, and another unforgettable moment — winning the golden wiener.
Ripa was clearly moved by her son’s surprise appearance and told him how happy she was to see him there.
“I’m just looking at you and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe you’re here,’” she said. “It’s such a nice surprise.”
Michael has been following in his parents’ entertainment footsteps for several years.
In 2021, he appeared on the CW teen drama Riverdale, playing a younger version of his father’s character, Hiram Lodge. He had previously taken on the role briefly in 2018.
Speaking to People about the experience, Michael described working on Riverdale as a major personal milestone.
“Working on Riverdale was a bucket list moment for me,” he said.
He added that acting opposite his father felt surreal, but that both of them had the best time during the experience.
“I really enjoyed getting to walk around in Hiram’s shoes,” Michael shared.
In 2025, Michael also worked with both of his parents on a scripted audio series called Summer Breeze.
The soap opera-inspired project was produced through Ripa and Consuelos’s entertainment company, Milojo Productions.
Speaking to Smashing Interviews Magazine about working with his famous parents, Michael said the experience was surprisingly collaborative.
He explained that Ripa and Consuelos were “very hands off” and allowed him to create his own version of the character.
“It was a really amazing collaborative experience, I think,” he said.
Between his resemblance to his father, his growing entertainment career, and his sweet on-air surprise for his mother, Michael’s latest appearance has once again reminded fans why the Ripa-Consuelos family continues to draw so much attention.
