“I was petrified in intensive care. I thought I was going to die,” Linda admitted, recalling the life-threatening health crisis that left her shaken.

The star revealed she had to have most of her pancreas removed and even underwent a brain scan as doctors worked to save her life. Throughout the ordeal, she credited her family and close friends for their unwavering support.

“Seeing my kids’ faces got me through it. They were at the hospital all the time. They’ve been amazing,” she said.

Linda’s struggles extend beyond her physical health. The actress has been candid about her battles with depression, OCD, and alcohol dependency, which led to three stints in rehab. She shared that during her darkest moments, her children became her carers:

“There was a point when I got so low I couldn’t be left alone. I wasn’t allowed to see my grandchildren until I was better… they still say ‘Mum, I’m so glad you are better, we never thought we’d get you back.’”If my daughters get their lips done I'll never speak to them again, says Loose Women's Linda Robson

Even amidst these challenges, Linda has maintained a strong bond with longtime friend and co-star Pauline Quirke, who was diagnosed with dementia in 2021. Linda revealed in an emotional update that she still meets Pauline regularly, cherishing the moments they share.

“We met up about three or four weeks ago at a restaurant. She was just giggling, really enjoying it… I left there happy because she was happy, and I knew they were looking after her really well.”Linda Robson tearfully opens up on Pauline Quirke friendship - Yahoo News UK
