“Mickey Rourke Evicted from LA Home After Turning Down $100K in Fan Donations: What’s REALLY Going on?”

In a shocking turn of events, Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke has been evicted from his Los Angeles rental home after failing to pay $59,100 in rent – just a month after he turned down $100K in donations from his fans.

The Angel Heart actor on December 18 was presented with three-day notice to pay or leave, according to a legal complaint from Goldie.

Rourke, 73, who starred in The Wrestler and 9½ Weeks, was issued a default judgment in favor of his landlord, Eric T. Goldie, after the actor failed to respond to eviction notices under California law. The court granted Goldie immediate possession of the home, effectively locking Rourke out.

The drama began in December when Rourke was hit with a three-day notice to either pay the overdue rent or leave the property. The home, located off Drexel Avenue, had reportedly been in poor condition with a malfunctioning kitchen sink, broken air conditioning, and even rodent problems. Rourke vented about the disrepair, saying, “I don’t want to live like this.”

But it wasn’t just the issues with the property that have people talking. Fans of Rourke rallied behind him last month, setting up a GoFundMe campaign that raised around $100,000 in donations to help him pay his rent. However, Rourke rejected the generous offer, calling it a “cruel embarrassment.”

“I didn’t know anything about it,” he told reporters, visibly upset. “That was some lady who worked for me did that s***.” Despite his frustration, the actor did not accept the donations, adding that he was embarrassed by the entire situation.

This latest controversy follows a rocky history for Rourke, who had been living in the house since March 2025 under a lease agreement of $5,200 a month. Legal documents revealed that Goldie, the landlord, filed the eviction after Rourke failed to comply with his payment obligations.

While Rourke’s eviction and refusal of help have left many puzzled, the legal proceedings continue, and Goldie has yet to comment on the situation publicly.

But what’s next for Mickey Rourke? Will he finally address the situation, or is there more to this story that we don’t know yet? Stay tuned for updates on this dramatic saga.
