Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are facing a tough decision about their daughter Bambi’s future as they admit they are “on the fence” about sending her to school. The couple, who are deeply protective of their three-year-old, don’t want to risk her “losing herself” in the process.

Molly-Mae, 26, shared her concerns in a recent vlog, explaining that while she’s open to Bambi attending a Catholic school if she thrives, they are considering homeschooling as an option. The thought of handing Bambi over to a formal education system five days a week is something that both parents are apprehensive about.
“I don’t want her to lose her spark,” Molly-Mae said, admitting that the idea of sending Bambi to school is “terrifying” for them. “We’re so protective of her, and we’re strict in a way we’re comfortable with,” she added, explaining the internal struggle she and Tommy, also 26, are facing.
The couple recently visited a school for Bambi, but it only intensified their doubts. “We were really feeling on the fence with schooling,” Molly-Mae admitted. “It was almost too perfect, and it made us question what we really want for her.”
Molly-Mae also touched on the impact of Tommy’s religious beliefs on their decision, revealing that while they both support the idea of Bambi attending a Catholic school, it’s not just about religion. “It’s about raising Bambi with a sense of her own personality,” she said.
Adding to their concerns, Tommy’s Traveller background has influenced their thinking. Two years ago, Tommy suggested that Bambi might not go to school at all. But despite this, Molly-Mae clarified that it wasn’t about his background — rather, they both simply want what’s best for their daughter.
“I just don’t want her to lose her uniqueness,” Molly-Mae continued. “She’s such a spark, and the thought of her being told what to do five days a week is really hard for me.”
Molly-Mae, who is currently pregnant with their second child, said that the overwhelming decision-making process has left her feeling unsure. “I feel like I left school just yesterday, and now I’m choosing a school for my child. It’s terrifying,” she confessed.
Although they’re still undecided, Molly-Mae and Tommy agree that the most important thing is that Bambi is happy and thriving, whether that means attending school or staying home for a while longer.
“I just want her to be happy, and if she loves school, we will support her,” Molly-Mae concluded.
For now, the couple is taking their time and putting the brakes on any decision. Will they choose school, or could homeschooling be the answer? Only time will tell.
