MOLLY-MAE Hague has revealed the shortlisted baby names she’s ruled out as she and Tommy Fury count down to the birth of their second child.
The reunited couple are excitedly waiting to meet their little one and have compiled a list of potential names — and Molly-Mae is convinced fans will hate their choice.\
They named their first child Bambi, three, and it looks like their second will have just as distinctive a moniker.
In her latest vlog, Molly-Mae, 26, who is in her third trimester, revealed why she’s drawn to unusual names for her children.
“In my opinion, you get one opportunity to name your child something that is going to make them be remembered by,” she said.
“There was so much controversy around Bambi’s name but, thank God, because I wanted to give Bambi a name people are going to remember and that no one else in her classroom was going to have.
“What I’m so triggered by, in my class, there were three Mollys and we were all best friends…
“I really think it’s an opportunity for you to set your kid apart. I think there’ll appreciate it, it’s a conversation starter.”
Giving an indication of the sorts of names she’s been considering, Molly-Mae said: “I have loads of girls names I love. I think boys names are a lot harder. I really really love, we won’t be using this, but I do love the name Bunny.
“I actually loved the girl name Goldie, but I feel Goldie now is too used. Goldie was always a top contender for me, even with Bambi.”
Continuing the metallic theme, Silver and Sylvie also made the list.
She continued: “I also love the name Junie for a boy. Junior, TJ — Tommy Junior. It’s not gonna be a Tommy Junior.”
The couple got engaged in 2023, but briefly split in August 2024 after the boxer was embroiled in a cheating scandal, which he blamed on severe alcohol dependency.
In the new At Home With The Furys Netflix docuseries, Tommy’s dad John said: “Molly is a lovely person, but she can’t help the life she’s been brought up in, it’s contrasting to ours.
“But she’s put up with some s*** hasn’t she, so fair play to her – she’s not a bad girl.
“I’m also going to be there to support them. Let’s see what happens.”
Last month, Molly-Mae revealed the couple were practically set on their choice of name and expected a backlash.
She said: “I think we’re pretty much set on a name now, which is crazy. Also just can’t wait for everyone to hate it, obviously it’s a different name — we were never gonna call our baby just an ordinary name, that was never going to happen.
“I’ve only ever heard of one other baby being called this name.”
She added “Can’t wait for everyone to literally probably dislike it and be like ‘da f***?’, but yeah, it was never gonna be an ordinary name guys lets be honest.”
Speculation over the name has been rife with Angel, Skye, Dream, Cloud and Star all mooted.
