Princess Andre has opened up for the first time about what it was really like to live inside her mother Katie Price’s infamous Sussex estate — known nationwide as the “Mucky Mansion.”

The 18-year-old, daughter of Katie Price and singer Peter Andre, spoke to The Guardian ahead of the launch of her ITV2 reality series The Princess Diaries. And her words paint a haunting picture of her childhood home.
“It was a really scary house,” Princess admitted. “A lot went on there. So I didn’t really like it.”

The sprawling nine-bedroom property, which Katie once valued at £2 million but was eventually sold for £1.5 million in December, has been dogged by years of repossessions, financial troubles, and even Katie’s own claims that it was haunted.
“Bad Experiences” and Haunted Rumors
Princess did not go into detail about her own experiences, but her mother Katie has long described the property as cursed. She has previously insisted that the house was haunted by the ghost of a small child. Several of Katie’s pets died there, and the house was repeatedly vandalized — at one point, acid was poured over her car parked outside.
Reflecting on her time there, Princess explained: “When you have bad experiences somewhere, you don’t like the place.”
Katie herself has been brutally honest about her feelings. “I absolutely hate the Mucky Mansion,” she said before finally moving out last year. “I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house for nine years. I never want to see it again. Whoever buys it, I warn them, they’ll get bad luck there. It’s cursed.”

She added: “My anxiety got worse there. I even had therapy because of that house. Leaving it was the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Contrasts Between Mum and Dad
Princess also reflected on the differences between her parents’ homes. “Dad’s house is a lot quieter, a lot more peaceful, a lot more organised,” she revealed. “Whereas my mum’s house is much more just do what you want.
“I love both sides. If I fancy something more chaotic and busy, I go to Mum’s. If I want something more relaxed, I go to Dad’s.”
Her candid reflections come amid fresh tensions between her parents.
Family Feud Boiling Over
Last week, Peter Andre reportedly reached “breaking point” after Katie made claims on her podcast that their children split their time equally between them, and that she had been excluded from Princess’s rising career.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, who split from Katie in 2009 after four years of marriage, issued a rare blistering statement on social media in response. According to The Sun, insiders say it was “the final straw.”

“Pete had to speak out because things had become unbearable,” a source said. “Katie lies about Pete and the kids all the time. The truth is, she said Princess lived with her — and that’s just not true.”
On Thursday, Katie tried to de-escalate, calling for peace talks and insisting that Princess had been “unfairly dragged” into the feud.
But with Princess now voicing her own unsettling memories of the “Mucky Mansion,” the split between her parents — and the shadow of the house that symbolized so much chaos — continues to make headlines.
