Tricia Penrose, known for her role in Heartbeat and Celebrity Big Brother, has revealed that she’s married the “love of her life” for the second time, just four years after her surprise divorce from Mark Simpkin.
The 56-year-old actress shared a sweet photo from her Lancashire wedding, where she tied the knot with Chris Hargreaves, looking more in love than ever. The couple posed at their wedding venue, Briars Hall Country Club, with smiles that radiated pure happiness.
Tricia stunned in a traditional white gown featuring a daring Bardot neckline, embroidered with intricate lace, and flaring out beautifully at the hips. She styled her blonde hair in an elegant updo, with loose curls framing her face. A simple silver necklace and a black watch completed her graceful look.
Chris, her new husband, looked dashing in a grey suit, crisp white shirt, and black tie, completing the perfect match for their special day.

The couple’s love story goes back to last year, when Chris proposed during a romantic holiday in Tenerife. Tricia’s previous marriage to Mark, which lasted 18 years, ended in 2021, with sources revealing the couple had grown apart and decided the split was “better for everyone.”
Tricia first rose to fame in 1992 as the sexy Liverpudlian barmaid Gina Ward in Heartbeat. After leaving the show in 2010 following its cancellation, Tricia’s new chapter is now one of love and happiness.
