Coleen Nolan’s son Shane has broken hearts across social media this Christmas after claiming he is still barred from seeing his daughter, almost seven years after she disappeared from his life.
The emotional post comes as the Nolan family finds itself trapped in an increasingly toxic war of words with Shane’s ex-partner — with no sign of peace in sight.
📸 The Photo That Said Everything — And One Name That Was Missing
This week, Shane shared a tender family photo on Facebook.
In it were his partner Kimberley Sallis, her 12-year-old daughter, and their newborn son Cruz-Carter, just five weeks old.
But he admitted his “little family” was still incomplete.
“One day my daughter will be in this picture too,” he wrote.
Adding heartbreakingly that it breaks his heart she doesn’t even know she has siblings.
A follower suggested there are “two sides to every story.”
Shane shot back that the truth would eventually come out — hinting his side has yet to be fully heard.

The rift has not only torn Shane apart — it has also cut deep into Coleen Nolan’s life.
Sources say the Loose Women star, now 60, has not seen her granddaughter Amelia Rose for almost seven years, with no contact at all between the Nolan family and the little girl.
Amelia was born in 2016, with Coleen present at the birth.

💬 Public Accusations, Private Pain
The dispute exploded online earlier this year after Shane was accused of ignoring his daughter during a live show.
He furiously denied the claim, insisting he had no idea she was even there and accusing critics of spreading damaging, one-sided accusations.
He has also stated that he continues to pay child maintenance, even increasing it after financial struggles during the pandemic, saying:
“I would never walk away from my responsibilities.”

But Shane’s former partner Emma Kivell tells a very different story.
In a scathing online statement, she accused him of making no genuine effort to be part of Amelia’s life — describing long periods of no contact and no support, and a child left waiting for a father who never arrived.
She also criticised the wider Nolan family, saying her daughter does not need what she called “pettiness” and “toxicity,” insisting Amelia already has a strong, loving support network.

Shane found love again last summer with Kimberley and welcomed baby Cruz-Carter in November.
Yet even with a newborn in his arms, the absence of his daughter hangs over everything.
