The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, 84, the mother of Today co-host Savannah Guthrie, continues to unfold. A neighbor has come forward with new information, describing unusual behavior from his dogs the night Nancy is believed to have been abducted, shedding new light on the timeline of her disappearance. 
Jeff Lamie, who lives just a few houses away from Nancy’s home in Tucson, Arizona, revealed that his dogs woke him up at 1 a.m. on February 1, the night authorities believe she was taken. Lamie described the behavior as atypical since the dogs had never acted this way before, drawing attention to the timing of the event. He later realized the significance of this after reviewing video footage with investigators, further adding to the mounting mystery. 
Nancy, who was last seen on the evening of January 31 after a family dinner, was reported missing on February 1 when she failed to show up for church. Authorities now believe she was taken from her home in the early hours of that morning. Despite weeks of investigation, no suspects have been publicly identified, though the FBI and local authorities have released footage of a masked man seen near the property.
