Stacey Solomon has finally opened up about the swirling speculation over her marriage to Joe Swash. The 36-year-old TV star tied the knot with the former soap actor, 44, in a romantic 2022 ceremony—but recent reports revealed their marriage had not been legally registered, sparking eyebrow-raising headlines. 📸
Adding fuel to the fire, Stacey was later spotted wearing her engagement ring—but no wedding band—leaving fans wondering about the state of their relationship.
Now, speaking candidly on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, Stacey dismissed divorce rumours and gave a refreshingly honest glimpse into married life.
“Who cares if the whole world says, ‘Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce’? Being in the public eye brings pressures, but not on us,” she said. “Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can’t wait to come home. Other times, I’m like: ‘Get out of my stratosphere—stay away from me.’ I think we’re just like any other couple.” ❤️
The couple share three children: Rex, seven, Rose, four, and two-year-old Belle. They are also parents to Stacey’s older sons, Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, and Joe’s son Harry, 18, from previous relationships.
A source told the Daily Mail: “They have six kids. Their wedding was a whirlwind—baby after baby. They just haven’t got round to making it legal yet.”
Earlier this month, Stacey returned to Instagram after a month-long break from the public eye, which coincided with rumours about marital tensions. Sharing snapshots of sunny family moments and chocolate cupcake baking, she offered a warm glimpse into life at Pickle Cottage—but notably, Joe was absent from the photos.
Captioning the images, Stacey wrote: “A slow April, in our little world… Missed coming on here and chatting to you all, but had a lovely April shutting off from the world & just being. Hope you’re all ok.”
Behind the scenes, production of their family reality show Stacey & Joe had temporarily paused due to tensions at home, throwing filming schedules into disarray. However, shooting has since resumed, with Stacey spotted filming at Scotts Tulip Farm in Brentwood, just minutes from her £1.2million home. The BBC recently confirmed season three will go ahead, continuing to follow the couple and their blended family at Pickle Cottage.
Stacey’s honesty shows that even in the public eye, marriage is messy, emotional, and full of love—and sometimes a little chaos too. 💛
