THIS Morning turned into a full-blown celebration today as superstar Jess Glynne all but CONFIRMED she’s gearing up to put a ring on her I’m A Celeb girlfriend, Alex Scott — sending fans, presenters and even Alex’s mum into meltdown.
The speculation exploded after Alex openly confessed in camp that she was “waiting” for Jess to propose when her fellow celebrities pressed her on marriage. And Jess wasted absolutely no time fanning those flames.
Earlier this week, she cheekily told Hits Radio’s Tom Green that the SECOND she heard Alex’s confession, she “went to the shop straight away” — a comment that set rumour mills on fire.
But today, the teasing went nuclear.
As Jess joined Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on the This Morning sofa, Alison went straight in for the kill:
“She’s been talking weddings… Have you got the ring yet, babe?”
Jess didn’t hesitate — she shot back a playful, devastatingly casual: “Yeah!”
Dermot then jumped in, laughing: “Hang on, why do YOU have to ask her? What’s going on there?”
Jess, grinning, replied: “Exactly — why do I have to ask?”
Alison chimed in: “Why can’t she propose to YOU?”
And then, the moment that broke the studio — and social media.
Jess joked that “you never know who’ll ask who,” and Alison practically screamed:
“YOU KNOW YOU’VE GOT THE RING! We can’t wait — watch this space!”
Alison and Dermot burst into celebration while Jess glowed beside Alex’s mum, who looked just as thrilled.
Meanwhile, inside the jungle, Alex has been gushing like someone already planning her vows. She told Ruby Wax:
“Before her, I never knew happiness.”
Alex recalled the electric moment they met — Jess boldly walked up to her at Chiltern Firehouse, leaving her stunned by her confidence.
“It was so ballsy,” Alex said. “The spark was instant. We fell madly in love.”
Fans went wild after Jess hopped on Instagram hours later, teasing:
“I better go get a ring.”
Their romance began quietly in the summer of 2023 before they went public later that year — and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
Before heading into the jungle, Alex revealed to The Sun the small everyday moments she’ll miss most: Jess cooking pasta “like no one else,” cosy nights sharing a glass of wine, and watching football together while unwinding from their hectic schedules.
“It’s a test for both of us,” Alex admitted. “But she’s at home cheering me on. She’s always my biggest supporter.”
Now, with Jess dropping proposal hints left, right, and centre, fans are convinced the couple’s long-awaited engagement might be just days — or even hours — away.
