Tina O’Brien appeared visibly downcast as she stepped out for the first time since ending her relationship with boyfriend Adam Fadle — a split that has reportedly left him stunned.
The Coronation Street favourite, 42, is said to have quietly called time on the romance, cutting all ties with Adam, 38, just four months after the pair began dating.
Hours after the news surfaced, Tina was photographed walking her dog in Alderley Edge, looking subdued and wrapped up against the cold in a long brown coat, a black hat, and a leopard-print scarf. Barefaced and dressed for warmth, she completed the look with a pair of sturdy boots, keeping her head down as she moved through her neighbourhood.
The couple made their first — and only — public appearance together earlier this summer at co-star Jack P Shepherd’s wedding. But according to insiders, Tina had been feeling for some time that the relationship wasn’t progressing and ultimately “wasn’t going anywhere.” Reports suggest she grew worried she was investing energy into something that lacked long-term promise.
Adam, however, is believed to have been blindsided by her decision, convinced they had a genuine future together.
In a decisive move, Tina has now scrubbed her Instagram of every photo featuring Adam, signalling the final close of their brief romance. Images from their sun-soaked getaway to Greece in September have also been removed.
The pair reportedly met through mutual friends in Cheshire, where both are based.
Tina, who has portrayed Sarah Platt on Coronation Street across two separate stints over 26 years, has faced several changes in her personal life this year. She split from her husband, Adam Crofts, 40, in March after six years of marriage. They share a young son, Beau. Tina is also mum to a 16-year-old daughter from her past relationship with former Corrie co-star Ryan Thomas.
What began as a promising summer romance between Tina and Adam has now ended with distance, silence and a clean break — a choice that, according to sources, Tina believes was necessary for her peace and future.
