Fox & Friends has long been one of Fox News’ most-watched and talked-about programs — but now, loyal viewers say something has changed, and not for the better.

Fans are flooding social media with blunt complaints, warning that the morning show has become “unwatchable” for a range of reasons. Ironically, this backlash comes after the program itself previously raged over issues like “equal time complaints” during the 2024 Presidential Election.

The show — fronted by Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt, Lawrence Jones, and other rotating Fox News faces — has traditionally been a ratings winner. Yet, recent episodes have left audiences frustrated over everything from questionable on-air jokes to the way big segments are teased for hours… only to fizzle out in seconds.

One recent flashpoint was a gag mocking gender labels, aimed at an unsuspecting individual — a move some slammed as insensitive. Others say their irritation has nothing to do with content, and everything to do with how the show runs.

Commercial breaks are one of the hottest points of contention. “There’s so many commercials on Fox & Friends now. It’s unwatchable,” one X (formerly Twitter) user complained, adding that “NewsNation is a better alternative — just the news.”

Even high-profile guests haven’t escaped criticism. Viewers blasted a recent interview with former NFL star Jared Allen, calling it embarrassingly short. “You promoted that story for three hours and gave him two seconds!” one wrote. Another fumed, “Jared Allen reflected on his speech? Really? I didn’t even see that — poor job!”

And then there’s the growing frustration with co-host Steve Doocy. In recent weeks, fans have taken to social media not only to vent about his on-air approach, but to openly call for his departure from the network altogether.

With complaints stacking up, the question now is whether Fox & Friends will listen — or keep losing the trust of the very audience that made it a morning TV powerhouse.
