💔 “I Just Don’t Want Her to Lose Herself”: Molly-Mae Hague Admits She and Tommy Fury Are Torn Over Sending Daughter Bambi, 3, to School

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about one of the most emotional parenting dilemmas she’s faced so far — admitting she and partner Tommy Fury are “on the fence” about whether to send their three-year-old daughter Bambi to school.

And the reason cuts deep.

The 26-year-old influencer and businesswoman confessed she’s terrified that formal schooling could cause her daughter to “lose herself” — or dim the spark that makes her who she is.

Molly-Mae said: 'I'm not really going to go into depth about it but we were very much feeling on the fence with schooling and what we were going to do and where we are at with it'

🧾 “I Want Her to Just Stay Bambi”

Molly-Mae Hague has said she and Tommy Fury are 'on the fence' about sending daughter Bambi, three, to school because they don't want her to 'lose herself'

Speaking candidly in her latest vlog, Molly-Mae revealed that the couple recently visited a school — an experience she described as overwhelming rather than reassuring.

“I don’t want her to lose her,” Molly-Mae admitted.
“Bambi has such a spark, such a brightness about her
the thought of handing her over five days a week is kind of terrifying.”

Although she stressed she does want Bambi to go to school, she confessed she doesn’t know what that looks like — or when.

“I definitely want her to go to school, but I don’t know in what capacity,” she said.
“I think the legal age is five
do we wait? Do we take her lead?”

Molly-Mae explained that religion is a non-negotiable factor in their decision, revealing that Tommy is adamant Bambi should attend a Catholic school.

“Catholic schools are few and far between,” she said.
“It’s non-negotiable because it’s Tommy’s religion — and obviously I support that.”

The couple have reportedly been attending church most Sundays in recent months and plan to baptise Bambi alongside their second child, whom Molly-Mae is currently pregnant with.

“When the baby is here, we’re going to do a joint baptism,” she shared.

😰 “Handing Your Child Over to a System Is Terrifying”

Despite praising the school they visited — calling it “amazing” and “almost too perfect” — Molly-Mae admitted it actually left her feeling more conflicted.

“It affirmed that we are very much on the fence,” she said.
“Even the little things — they’re very strict. Which is great. We’re strict too
but in a way we’re comfortable with.”

Her fear?

“Handing your child over for five days a week, six or seven hours a day, to a system
 it’s kind of terrifying.”

And while Molly-Mae admits she’s protective, she joked that Tommy is “another level.”

While she stopped short of confirming any plans, Molly-Mae admitted she hasn’t ruled out homeschooling — particularly if traditional education doesn’t feel right for Bambi.

“We might put her in a school and it might not work,” she said.
“Could homeschooling be an option?”

She was quick to stress that if Bambi thrives in school, they would fully support it.

“If she loves it and she’s thriving, that’s amazing. That’s what we want.
I just want her to be happy.”

🧠 Shaped by Her Own School Trauma

In one of her most honest moments, Molly-Mae admitted her hesitation is influenced by her own negative memories of school.

“I really didn’t enjoy school. At all,” she confessed.
“People say it’s the best years of your life — I don’t feel that way.”

She described her school experience as overly serious and emotionally tough, admitting she never wants her daughter to feel the same.

Still, she acknowledged the stakes.

“If she wants to be a vet, a doctor, a nurse — we want her to have that future,” she said.
“I never want to make a decision that hinders her.”

This isn’t the first time the couple have clashed over Bambi’s education.

Back in 2023, viewers saw them struggle to agree in Netflix’s At Home With The Furys, when Tommy floated the idea of Bambi not attending school — citing his Traveller background and belief that family should always come first.

Molly-Mae has now firmly denied their current hesitation is linked to that.

“People will think this is because Tommy is half-Traveller — it’s not,” she insisted.
“Tommy went to school. He’s just as on the fence as I am.”

💭 “It All Feels Very Overwhelming”

As pressure mounts from those urging them to secure a school place early, Molly-Mae admitted the decision feels rushed — and frightening.

“I feel like I left school five minutes ago,” she said.
“Now I’m looking for a school for my child. I don’t know what to think.”

For now, the couple are putting the brakes on — choosing reflection over rushing.

And in a world where celebrity parents are constantly judged, Molly-Mae made one thing clear:

💗 This isn’t about controversy.
💗 It’s about protecting a little girl’s light.

As she put it herself:

“I just want her to stay Bambi.”
