Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about one of the most emotional parenting dilemmas sheâs faced so far â admitting she and partner Tommy Fury are âon the fenceâ about whether to send their three-year-old daughter Bambi to school.
And the reason cuts deep.
The 26-year-old influencer and businesswoman confessed sheâs terrified that formal schooling could cause her daughter to âlose herselfâ â or dim the spark that makes her who she is.

𧞠âI Want Her to Just Stay Bambiâ

Speaking candidly in her latest vlog, Molly-Mae revealed that the couple recently visited a school â an experience she described as overwhelming rather than reassuring.
âI donât want her to lose her,â Molly-Mae admitted.
âBambi has such a spark, such a brightness about her⊠the thought of handing her over five days a week is kind of terrifying.â
Although she stressed she does want Bambi to go to school, she confessed she doesnât know what that looks like â or when.
âI definitely want her to go to school, but I donât know in what capacity,â she said.
âI think the legal age is five⊠do we wait? Do we take her lead?â

Molly-Mae explained that religion is a non-negotiable factor in their decision, revealing that Tommy is adamant Bambi should attend a Catholic school.
âCatholic schools are few and far between,â she said.
âItâs non-negotiable because itâs Tommyâs religion â and obviously I support that.â
The couple have reportedly been attending church most Sundays in recent months and plan to baptise Bambi alongside their second child, whom Molly-Mae is currently pregnant with.
âWhen the baby is here, weâre going to do a joint baptism,â she shared.
đ° âHanding Your Child Over to a System Is Terrifyingâ
Despite praising the school they visited â calling it âamazingâ and âalmost too perfectâ â Molly-Mae admitted it actually left her feeling more conflicted.
âIt affirmed that we are very much on the fence,â she said.
âEven the little things â theyâre very strict. Which is great. Weâre strict too⊠but in a way weâre comfortable with.â
Her fear?
âHanding your child over for five days a week, six or seven hours a day, to a system⊠itâs kind of terrifying.â
And while Molly-Mae admits sheâs protective, she joked that Tommy is âanother level.â
đĄ Is Homeschooling on the Table?

While she stopped short of confirming any plans, Molly-Mae admitted she hasnât ruled out homeschooling â particularly if traditional education doesnât feel right for Bambi.
âWe might put her in a school and it might not work,â she said.
âCould homeschooling be an option?â
She was quick to stress that if Bambi thrives in school, they would fully support it.
âIf she loves it and sheâs thriving, thatâs amazing. Thatâs what we want.
I just want her to be happy.â
đ§ Shaped by Her Own School Trauma
In one of her most honest moments, Molly-Mae admitted her hesitation is influenced by her own negative memories of school.
âI really didnât enjoy school. At all,â she confessed.
âPeople say itâs the best years of your life â I donât feel that way.â
She described her school experience as overly serious and emotionally tough, admitting she never wants her daughter to feel the same.
Still, she acknowledged the stakes.
âIf she wants to be a vet, a doctor, a nurse â we want her to have that future,â she said.
âI never want to make a decision that hinders her.â
đ„ A Debate Thatâs Been Brewing for Years

This isnât the first time the couple have clashed over Bambiâs education.
Back in 2023, viewers saw them struggle to agree in Netflixâs At Home With The Furys, when Tommy floated the idea of Bambi not attending school â citing his Traveller background and belief that family should always come first.
Molly-Mae has now firmly denied their current hesitation is linked to that.
âPeople will think this is because Tommy is half-Traveller â itâs not,â she insisted.
âTommy went to school. Heâs just as on the fence as I am.â
đ âIt All Feels Very Overwhelmingâ
As pressure mounts from those urging them to secure a school place early, Molly-Mae admitted the decision feels rushed â and frightening.
âI feel like I left school five minutes ago,â she said.
âNow Iâm looking for a school for my child. I donât know what to think.â
For now, the couple are putting the brakes on â choosing reflection over rushing.
And in a world where celebrity parents are constantly judged, Molly-Mae made one thing clear:
đ This isnât about controversy.
đ Itâs about protecting a little girlâs light.
As she put it herself:
âI just want her to stay Bambi.â
