Itâs wedding season on Coronation Street â and Weatherfield is ready to celebrate in full soap-opera style.
The first photos from Debbie Websterâs long-awaited wedding have finally been revealed, showing actress Sue Devaney looking every inch the glamorous bride in a stunning feathered white gown that turned heads on set.
Filmed at a beautifully decorated church, the 58-year-old actress radiated old-school elegance in a fitted white dress adorned with intricate beading and a dramatic feathered bolero â but in true Sue style, she paired it with comfy trainers for rehearsals.Â
âShe looked absolutely glowing,â one insider shared. âItâs Debbie Webster like weâve never seen her before â full-on glam and loving every second.â
 A Fairytale in Weatherfield
While the groom Ronnie Bailey (played by Vinta Morgan) was notably absent during the filming of the rehearsal scenes, Debbie wasnât walking alone.
Sue was spotted arm in arm with her on-screen brother Kevin Webster (played by Michael Le Vell), looking dapper in a navy suit as they made their way into the flower-filled church.Â
The venue itself was dressed to impress, complete with large floral arrangements and even a gleaming white Rolls Royce parked outside â sparking speculation that the newlyweds will drive off together in true Corrie luxury.Â
Other behind-the-scenes snaps captured Weatherfieldâs finest turning up in style. Among the guests were Sally Dynevorâs Sally Webster, Alan Halsallâs Tyrone Dobbs, and Jane Hazelgroveâs Bernie Winter, who were all dressed to the nines for the joyous occasion.
âItâs one of those classic Corrie weddings â full of heart, laughter, and of course, a few surprises along the way,â teased a production insider.
A Bride With Style â and a Sense of Humour
In one playful moment, Sue was seen laughing behind the wheel of a golf buggy alongside co-star Jane Hazelgrove, who playfully drove them toward the church. The pair giggled as they âarrivedâ in their makeshift wedding transport â proof that even the grandest Corrie weddings come with a side of chaos.
âSue couldnât stop smiling,â said an eyewitness. âThe whole cast was in great spirits â you could tell everyone was excited for Debbieâs big day.â
New Faces and Old Favourites Return
The excitement doesnât stop at the wedding. Coronation Street has confirmed that Catherine Tyldesley will make her long-awaited return as Eva Price, bringing even more drama to Weatherfield.
Eva is set to return with her new husband Ben (Aaron McCusker) and his family, The Driscolls â and it looks like theyâll be shaking things up immediately.
According to ITV, Ben will surprise Eva by revealing heâs bought the Rovers Return Inn, making her the new landlady once again â a role she last held in 2018.Â
But of course, no Corrie storyline is ever simple. Their fresh start takes a dramatic turn when Benâs mother, Maggie (Pauline McLynn), arrives unannounced â bringing shocking secrets from the past that threaten to tear everything apart.
ITV teased: âThe Price/Driscoll family will arrive with a bang â and a suitcase full of secrets.â
Fans will also see Eva reunite with her sisters Leanne (Jane Danson) and Toyah (Georgia Taylor), as well as her daughter Susie and Benâs two sons Will and Ollie, both joining the new family dynamic in Weatherfield.
Love, Laughter, and a Little Bit of Drama
From Debbie Websterâs lavish wedding to Eva Priceâs fiery comeback, Coronation Street is turning up the heat this autumn â blending romance, family reunions, and just enough chaos to keep viewers hooked.
Sue Devaneyâs performance as the glowing bride has already sparked buzz among fans, many calling it âone of the most glamorous Corrie weddings in years.â
âWeatherfield might not always do happy endings,â one fan posted online, âbut when it does, it looks this good.âÂ
