Tom Read Wilson has laid his heart bare, revealing that he has never truly been in love — and offering a cheeky glimpse into how his distinctive, effeminate voice sometimes complicates his love life.
The 39-year-old TV star, best known as the charming client coordinator on Celebs Go Dating, shot to wider fame after his unforgettable run on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last year, finishing in a thrilling second place thanks to overwhelming public support.
Speaking candidly on Paul Brunson’s podcast We Need To Talk, Tom reflected on his single life:
“Everything shifted for me in the last 18 months to two years because I’m really happy being single. I’m content with my lot. I always thought the missing thing in my life was a gentleman — now I don’t. If it tumbled into my life, I’d be happy as a clam, but I’m not actively seeking it.”
Despite his contentment, he admitted a flicker of longing for romance:
“I’d like to know that feeling at some stage. I’d like to find my person — that would be nice.”
