Whitney Rose and her husband, Justin Rose, have reportedly separated after 16 years of marriage and two children.

Following Page Six‘s claim of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City couple “living separate lives” amid financial strain, it has been revealed that Whitney, 39, and Justin, 58, have separated.

A source confirmed the news to Us Weekly on July 22.

As RHOSLC fans may know, Whitney and Justin tied the knot in November 2009 and share daughter Bobbie, 16, and son Brooks, 13.

During a 2023 interview with the outlet, Whitney said that despite the ups and downs she and Justin have faced, they were doing “fine.”

“Our marriage isn’t any different than anyone else’s. We just share it, whether people like it or not,” Whitney shared at the time. “We’re not sharing cringey things anymore.”

She then gave a nod to Justin’s time off work, saying, “I think he didn’t work for a year. I got used to having him at home and I just focused on my businesses. So the balance of work, life, kids [and] marriage had to be reset.”

As they faced adversity in their marriage, Whitney said she and Justin worked on their communication and applauded Justin for supporting her throughout her many business endeavors, even when they weren’t going as planned.

“Look at what he supported me through with my own family, my dad, my healing journey that just being a housewife, starting my businesses [and] my kids,” she said. “I mean, he’s so supportive.”

Years later, Whitney fired back at claims of a potentially impending divorce.

“Any talk of Justin and I getting divorced is very sensitive to [my kids]. Can I share what my daughter said to me though?” she told Us Weekly. “I asked her, ‘What do you say to kids at school when they ask you about your mom and dad painting each other on TV and getting physical?’ And she goes, ‘Yeah, that’s my mom. Are you jealous?’ So I mean, I’ve raised good kids.”

Prior to Us Weekly’s confirmation of the separation, Page Six’s insider claimed Whitney and Justin were “never together, even when they’re in the same place, like the gym.” The outlet also said the couple was “existing” only “for the sake” of their kids.

“This show is so bad on relationships,” another insider added, seemingly giving a nod to Angie Katsanevas‘ recent split from Shawn Trujillo, 52.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven is expected to premiere earlier this year on Bravo.
