Brittany Mahomes isn’t just rebuilding her body — she’s rewriting her story.
The 30-year-old wife of Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes stunned fans this week after sharing a powerful video of herself performing heavy barbell back squats, a moment that felt almost unbelievable given what she endured just over a year ago.
In March 2024, Brittany shocked followers when she revealed she had suffered a serious pelvic floor injury after childbirth — describing the pain as feeling like she had a “broken back.” Daily life became limited, movement was difficult, and workouts were out of the question.
Fast-forward to today, and the transformation is jaw-dropping.
Her fitness coach, Kirsty Rae, shared the now-viral clip showing Brittany confidently squatting around 70 pounds, praising her for the relentless work behind the scenes.
“A year and a half ago, she was rehabbing in pain,” Rae wrote. “Now she’s almost a year postpartum and getting stronger every week. Proof that patience and intentional training can change everything.”
Brittany reposted the moment proudly — not as a flex, but as a victory.
Back when the injury first happened, she used her platform to issue a heartfelt warning to other mothers:
“Once you have kids, please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously,” she wrote — turning personal pain into public purpose.
Since then, Brittany and Patrick have welcomed their third child, daughter Golden Raye, joining Sterling Skye and Bronze. Through pregnancies, rehab and motherhood, Brittany quietly rebuilt herself — mentally and physically.
By May 2024, she was finally able to say the words fans were desperate to hear:
“My back is no longer broke. I’m living my best life.”
Now, as Patrick Mahomes begins his own long recovery from a torn ACL suffered in December, Brittany’s comeback feels even more symbolic — a reminder that healing is possible, even when the road is brutal.
This isn’t just a gym video.
It’s proof that sometimes the strongest thing a person can lift… is themselves back up. 💪💛
