After weeks of football frustration and playoff disappointment, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce traded stadium lights for candlelight.
The engaged couple were spotted Monday night slipping into Funke, a chic Italian hotspot in Beverly Hills, marking one of their first public outings since the Kansas City Chiefs were officially eliminated from postseason contention.
Swift, 36, cut a relaxed but polished figure in an oversized grey blazer, while Kelce matched the low-key glamour in a retro bowling shirt in earthy greens and browns. The pair moved quietly from their waiting SUV to the restaurant elevator, Taylor leading the way — a small but symbolic moment as the two lean into life beyond the gridiron, at least for now.
Just days earlier, Swift had already left her mark on Los Angeles — literally.
Her close friends Este, Danielle and Alana Haim, along with singer Sombr, were photographed leaving the Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood clutching special party favors: Taylor’s homemade sourdough bread, wrapped with handwritten labels. The loaves sent Swifties spiraling online, proof that even offstage, the pop superstar’s personal touches become instant cultural moments.
Swift previously admitted on Kelce’s New Heights podcast that she has fallen into a full-blown baking obsession.
“We’re very deep in a sourdough phase that has taken over my life,” she laughed last summer.
The couple’s dinner date arrives at an emotionally charged crossroads. The Chiefs’ crushing loss to the Chargers on December 14 officially ended their playoff hopes, meaning Kelce’s family — along with Swift and both their mothers — watched what could become the tight end’s final meaningful NFL game from a luxury suite.
Kelce, now 36, has yet to reveal whether he will return for a 14th season. His contract is expiring, and he has been candid about wanting to make a decision early to help the Chiefs plan their offseason.
For now, though, there are no stadium roars — just sourdough, candlelit dinners, and two global superstars quietly holding onto each other while everything else feels uncertain.
