SLEEP OVER FOOTBALL? Travis Kelce reveals surprising new role that helps him rest better — even beyond Taylor Swift

Travis KelceAs speculation swirls around his NFL future and retirement whispers grow louder, Travis Kelce has revealed a surprising new chapter in his life — one that doesn’t involve touchdowns, trophies, or even the Kansas City Chiefs.

Instead, it involves sleep.
A lot of it.

The Chiefs superstar has officially become an investor — and one of the top shareholders — in Sleep Number, the American bed company known for its high-tech, adjustable sleep systems.

For Kelce, this isn’t just a business deal. It’s personal.

🛏️ Turning recovery into a business move

According to Variety, Kelce is not merely the face of the brand. He has acquired common stock on the open market and received restricted stock units as part of a three-year agreement — giving him a stake of just under five percent in the company.

Sleep Number CEO Linda Findley praised the move, saying Kelce brings a “winning mindset” both on and off the field — and understands better than most how crucial rest is to elite performance.

⏰ “10 hours a night” — and proud of it

Kelce’s connection to the brand goes far deeper than marketing.

The tight end has reportedly been sleeping on a Sleep Number bed since 2019 and has long credited his famously disciplined 10-hour-a-night sleep schedule for helping his body survive the brutal physical toll of the NFL.

“I’m intentional about where I invest and the brands I align with,” Kelce explained.
“I’ve slept on a Sleep Number bed for years. The ability to adjust the bed as my recovery needs change is something I’ve relied on — and why becoming an investor felt like a natural next step.”

Using the brand’s technology, Kelce tracks his heart rate, breathing, and movement during sleep to ensure his body is actually repairing itself while he rests.
