There’s a baby boom brewing in Tyneside.
Gaz Beadle, 37, has revealed that his girlfriend Maia, 24, is pregnant with their first child together, sharing the joyful news in a heartfelt Instagram post that instantly sent fans — and fellow reality stars — into celebration mode.
The Geordie Shore favourite, who already shares two children with ex-wife Emma McVey, marked the milestone with a sweet video montage that captured the couple at their happiest.
Ultrasound Snaps, Beach Bliss — And One Very Proud Dad
In the emotional clip, Gaz is seen beside Maia as she undergoes an ultrasound scan, before the couple beam for photos in their car, holding up the precious images and sealing the moment with a kiss.
Small details revealed just how united the family already is — including a personalised neckerchief for their Labrador and toys bearing the names of Gaz’s children, signalling that everyone is excited to welcome the newest arrival.
The video also showed Gaz gently placing his hands on Maia’s growing bump while the couple relaxed on a sun-soaked beach, before he pumped his fists in pure joy.
‘The Year of the Geordie Shore Babies’
Friends from the Geordie Shore family were quick to respond.
Pregnant Sophie Kasaei commented:
“2026 — the year of the Geordie Shore babies. Congratulations.”
Marnie Simpson added:
“Omgggg congratulations.”
While Sam Gowland simply wrote:
“Congrats mate.”
A New Chapter After Heartbreak
Gaz went public with Maia in 2024 and has previously described her as “inspirational,” crediting her with helping him through his split from Emma.
Gaz and Emma are parents to Chester, seven, and Primrose, four. The pair married in July 2021 but sadly separated two years later.
Now, with a new relationship and another baby on the way, fans say Gaz appears to be entering a calmer, more grounded chapter of life.
Clapping Back at Critics
The announcement comes just weeks after Gaz defended his decision to return to Geordie Shore, seven years after initially stepping away from the show to focus on fatherhood.
Earlier this month, he responded to a TikTok critic who branded him “embarrassing” and “skint” for returning to the series, which was filmed in Portugal alongside fellow OGs Sophie Kasaei and Chloe Ferry.
Hitting back, Gaz — whose real name is Gary Beadle — compared his work to that of football stars Thierry Henry and Micah Richards.
“Is Henry skint because he does football punditry?” Gaz said.
“Or Micah Richards doing TV commercials? It’s a job. If they want to pay me to go on holiday with my mates for a few weeks, you better believe I’m doing it. More money in the pot.”
Why He Chose to Come Back
Speaking about his return, Gaz admitted he gave it serious thought.
“I had a lot of conversations with producers because I wanted to make sure it was right for me,” he explained.
“I’m not going in there getting smashed every night — I don’t do that in real life, so I’m not doing it there.”
He added that as his children grow older — and with the show evolving — the timing finally felt right.
From Reality Chaos to Family Man
Gaz first shot to fame on the inaugural series of Geordie Shore in 2011, remaining a central figure until 2017, before appearing on spin-off Geordie OGs in 2019.
His early years on the show were dominated by his turbulent romance with Charlotte Crosby, an on-off relationship marked by infidelity and heartbreak — including his absence when Charlotte suffered an ectopic pregnancy in 2016 while he was filming Ex On The Beach.
He ultimately left Geordie Shore after discovering Emma was pregnant with their first child — a moment that changed his life forever.
Now, nearly a decade on, Gaz is preparing to become a father once again — this time surrounded by celebration, stability, and a growing family ready to welcome a new arrival.
