Katie Price claims husband Lee Andrews paid for £36M Dubai home in cash and reveals she refused pre-nup as she dismisses her family’s fears by insisting ‘I will make my own choices’

Katie Price has doubled down on her insistence that husband Lee Andrews is ‘The One’, brushing off mounting criticism and family concerns as she declares she is ‘the happiest I’ve ever been’.

The former glamour model, 47, stunned fans in January when she tied the knot with the self-styled businessman, 42, in a whirlwind ceremony in Dubai just 10 days after meeting him in person.

Katie Price claims husband Lee Andrews paid for £36M Dubai home in cash and reveals she refused pre-nup as she dismisses her family's fears by insisting 'I will make my own choices' |Now, in a candid new interview, Katie has revealed she refused to sign a pre-nuptial agreement before walking down the aisle — a decision that has raised eyebrows given her turbulent romantic history and previous financial struggles.

Insisting she is ‘not stupid’, Katie claims Lee has provided her with documentation proving his wealth, including evidence that he paid for a lavish £36million Dubai mansion entirely in cash.

‘I’ve seen the paperwork,’ she said. ‘He’s shown me everything. He’s not a con man or a scammer. People can say what they want, but I know what I know.’

Her comments come amid a wave of scrutiny surrounding Lee’s past, including allegations from former partners and reports challenging claims about his business empire and celebrity connections.

But Katie remains steadfast.

‘I thought I’d been in love before, but this feels different,’ she gushed. ‘It’s not even about lust. It was an instant connection on every level. I fell in love with him long before we even slept together.’

The couple’s romance reportedly began when Lee appeared as a suggested follow on Instagram. Katie made the first move, sliding into his direct messages. They went on to message for hours each day — sometimes up to five — before arranging to meet in Dubai.

Within days, wedding bells were ringing.

Katie Price claims she's 'got no one' as she reunites with husband Lee Andrews in Dubai - Daily RecordWhile Katie has described the ceremony as ‘magical’, sources close to her family have claimed they were blindsided by the nuptials and are deeply concerned about the speed of the relationship.

Her sister Sophie has appeared to hint at disapproval, previously announcing that their joint podcast would be ‘paused’ for the foreseeable future. Shortly after news of the wedding broke, Sophie posted a cryptic message alongside a serene countryside video: ‘This and never stepping foot in Dubai.’

She later reshared a clip of physician Dr Gabor Maté discussing how families cope during difficult times. The video concluded with the poignant message: ‘I’m not going to try and change you. I just hope you come to your senses at some point. But I’ll be with you and I’ll be supporting you.’

Katie, however, insists she understands her family’s fears — but says they must allow her to live her life.

‘Of course my family are going to worry,’ she admitted. ‘They’ve seen me go through heartbreak and some horrific times. I don’t blame them for being angry or p***ed off. They love me. But I’m not a kid anymore. I’m 47. I can make my own choices, and I will.’

She added firmly: ‘My life isn’t normal. People need to let me be me.’

Her five children have yet to meet Lee in person. However, eldest daughter Princess, 18, and son Junior, 20, recently addressed the marriage during a television appearance, insisting they support their mother’s happiness.

‘I’ve not met him,’ Princess admitted, while Junior added: ‘Our mum is her own person. She’s going to do what she’s going to do. As long as she’s happy, that’s all that matters.’

Katie’s unwavering defence of her husband comes despite explosive claims from one of his ex-partners, Alana Percival, and reports that he was previously detained in the UAE.

The Daily Mail previously revealed that Lee allegedly spent three weeks in a UAE jail over accusations he forged an ex-girlfriend’s signature to secure a £200,000 loan. It was further alleged he applied for a mortgage in personal trainer Dina Taji’s name without her consent.

Lee has vehemently denied wrongdoing, dismissing the claims as ‘complete b******s’ and insisting he is free to travel.

However, questions have been raised after Katie returned to the UK alone on multiple occasions since their wedding — despite Lee publicly stating he would accompany her.

There were also promises of a honeymoon abroad, yet the couple remained in Dubai.

This week, Lee took to social media to explain that Katie would be travelling back to the UAE via Oman, where he would meet her and drive her home, amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following US and Israeli strikes on Iran.

‘Flights have started to open,’ he said in a video. ‘If not, you can go through Oman — it’s next door. I’d go and pick her up. That’s what you do when you’re married and in love, right?’

The comments come against a backdrop of official travel warnings. Government advice has cautioned against travel to the UAE due to the volatile security situation and the risk of sudden airspace closures.

Despite the uncertainty, Katie remains adamant that she has done her due diligence.

‘He ticks every box,’ she said. ‘People think I rush into things, but I’ve asked questions. I’ve done my homework.’

The model also brushed aside suggestions that refusing a pre-nup was reckless.

‘If you go into a marriage thinking about what happens if it fails, then what’s the point?’ she said. ‘I trust my husband.’

Katie has famously endured a string of high-profile relationships and marriages, including to Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler, both of which ended in acrimonious splits.

Friends have privately expressed concern that history may repeat itself. Yet Katie insists this time is different.

‘Everyone has an opinion on my life,’ she said. ‘But they don’t live it. I do. And right now, I’m happy.’

She added: ‘People love to see the worst. They love drama. But sometimes, things really are just simple. I met someone. I fell in love. We got married. It doesn’t have to be more complicated than that.’

Whether critics will be convinced remains to be seen. For now, Katie appears determined to block out the noise and focus on her new chapter in Dubai — a chapter she insists is built on trust, passion and a £36million home paid for in cash.

As scrutiny intensifies and headlines continue to swirl, one thing is clear: Katie Price is standing firmly by her man.

And, as she puts it, she will make her own choices — whatever the consequences may be.
