The beloved DIY show’s sixth season kicked off with Stacey heading to Scotland to help Gerald, a father-of-three who was diagnosed with the disease seven years ago. Alongside his wife of 30 years, Trish, Gerald has been battling the debilitating effects of Alzheimer’s, a condition that causes memory loss, cognitive decline, and emotional changes.
