The 77-year-old Scottish singer made waves last week on The Louis Theroux Podcast, where she revealed that Maurice “potentially” fathered a son while they were married, after a brief fling. She even claimed that she had “irrefutable proof” of the affair.

However, Nick Endacott-Gibb, 57, who has long claimed to be Maurice’s biological son, has since responded, stating that he was conceived two years before Lulu and Maurice’s whirlwind romance began. Nick, who was adopted as a baby, said, “I was born in April 1968, conceived in August 1967. Lulu and Maurice didn’t even get married until 1969—long after I was conceived.”

Lulu had been married to Maurice from 1969 to 1975, but their marriage ended two years after they separated in 1973. Lulu’s recent comments, which suggested a secret child from Maurice’s affair, have left many wondering about the true timeline of events.

Nick, a musician himself, also addressed his DNA test results from 2019, which confirmed a 100% match with Maurice’s son, Adam. Despite family members still questioning his claims, Nick remains resolute in his belief that Maurice is his father.

Speaking to The Mirror, Nick said, “For some reason, some members of the family want to publicly cast doubt on my DNA results from two years ago, instead of recognizing the music I’m creating—which surely speaks for itself.”

Maurice, who died in 2003, had two children with his second wife Yvonne Spenceley, but Nick’s DNA test sparked new revelations about his possible connection to the Bee Gees legend.

Lulu, who has acknowledged the challenges of her past, admitted that her claims may have been driven by emotional pain, as she has experienced many ups and downs throughout her life. “I’ve had unbelievable highs, but I’ve also had a lot of lows,” she reflected. “I’m no different from anyone else, but I’m always curious and I think that’s helped me survive the ups and downs.”

As the mystery deepens and both sides stand firm, the question remains—could Maurice Gibb truly have a secret son born during his marriage to Lulu? 💔
