Katie Price’s driving record continues to spiral after being banned from the road for the seventh time. The former glamour model was handed another six-month driving ban after failing to respond to police letters regarding an 80mph speeding ticket. Price, 47, has now accumulated over six years of driving bans since her first disqualification in 2010.

Her latest run-in with the law stems from a speeding incident on October 15, 2025, when a Ford Capri registered in her name was caught speeding at 80mph on the A64 near Stutton, North Yorkshire. At the time of the offence, Price was on stage with her friend Kerry Katona for An Evening with Katie Price & Kerry Katona at Scarborough Spa.
Following the incident, North Yorkshire Police sent Price a letter asking for confirmation that she was behind the wheel of the speeding vehicle. However, despite receiving multiple reminders, Price failed to respond to the letters. As a result, she was prosecuted for failing to provide the required information and was convicted of the offence.
Price appeared in court last week in a Single Justice Procedure, a behind-closed-doors process where magistrates deal with cases without a public hearing. Magistrate Claire Sagar found her guilty of the charge and imposed a fine of £660, £120 in costs, and a £264 victim surcharge. Although the speeding charge was withdrawn, Price’s failure to respond to the police led to her latest disqualification from driving.
This conviction adds to Price’s already extensive list of driving offences. In 2010, she was banned for six months after admitting to a speeding charge, and just two years later, she received a 12-month ban for failing to respond to two speeding tickets. Price’s driving woes continued throughout the years, with further bans for failing to provide information about her speeding car and driving while disqualified.
In 2019, Price was arrested for drink-driving and was later convicted for driving while disqualified and without insurance. A judge condemned her behaviour, calling it “one of the worst driving records I have ever seen” and sentenced her to a suspended prison sentence. She was given a two-year driving ban, 100 hours of community service, and 30 rehabilitation sessions.
In addition to her criminal troubles, Price’s financial situation has also been in the spotlight. In recent years, she has struggled with bankruptcy proceedings, and a judge recently ordered her to reduce her “extravagant pattern of expenditure” as it was revealed that nearly half of her monthly income was going towards paying off creditors.
Price’s driving convictions have also led to difficulties in obtaining car insurance, with the star admitting on a podcast last year that she now struggles to find coverage due to her past record.
Katie’s past driving offences have included:
- October 2003: Escapes a speeding charge on a technicality.
- June 2008: Given three points for using a mobile phone while driving.
- July 2010: Four points for speeding at 99mph.
- September 2010: Three points for veering off course in her pink horsebox.
- December 2010: Six-month ban after accumulating 13 points for speeding at 83mph in a 70mph zone.
- August 2012: Banned for 12 months after failing to respond to two speeding tickets.
- February 2018: Banned for six months for failing to identify the driver of her speeding car.
- January 2019: Three-month ban for driving while banned.
- September 2019: Convicted for being drunk in charge of a vehicle after crashing her car.
- March 2021: Arrested for drink-driving and flipping her car; sentenced to 16 weeks suspended prison and a two-year ban.
- November 2023: Convicted for driving without a licence and insurance.
Katie Price’s struggles with the law have continued to follow her throughout her career, and her driving record remains one of the most notorious in recent celebrity history.
