NBC Nightly News anchor, Tom Llamas, reported on the deeply emotional tribute that Savannah Guthrie and her siblings left for their mother, Nancy, outside her Tucson, Arizona, home. The tribute comes as Nancy’s disappearance hits the one-month mark, with authorities treating it as a kidnapping after disturbing footage and blood evidence were discovered.

On February 1, 84-year-old Nancy went missing, believed to have been taken from her residence, with investigators uncovering troubling footage of a masked figure carrying a firearm near her home. In their poignant visit, Savannah, her sister Annie, and brother-in-law Tommaso Cioni approached a makeshift memorial created by the community, which included photographs, notes, candles, and rows of yellow flowers.

The siblings, visibly emotional, placed yellow bouquets and a handwritten note at the site, which Savannah later shared with viewers. The note read: “Mama, We miss you so much! Our hearts are broken! We are standing on ash, on scorched earth! But mom, though we are surrounded by so much darkness and uncertainty, our love burns bright.”

Captured in tears, the siblings embraced outside the home where Nancy was last seen after a family dinner on January 31. They’ve made heartfelt social media pleas for Nancy’s safe return, though they fear the worst as the search continues without resolution.

Tom Llamas urged viewers, “All it takes is one tip. It’s time to bring her home.” Authorities from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI are investigating, with several individuals questioned, but no suspects have been named yet. A $1 million reward is offered for information that could lead to Nancy’s whereabouts.
