For many parents, the thought of their child entering the Love Island villa might spark concern. But for beloved TV presenter Kate Garraway, the idea doesn’t seem nearly as shocking as fans might expect.
In a candid and light-hearted admission, the Good Morning Britain star revealed that she would fully support her daughter Darcey if she ever decided to sign up for the hit ITV dating show — despite its reputation for romance, drama, and headline-making moments.

When asked whether she would allow her 20-year-old daughter Darcey to take part in the show, Kate didn’t hesitate.
“Absolutely,” she said.
However, it seems Darcey has very different plans.

One particular episode left her daughter horrified after Kate found herself involved in a tense showdown with fellow contestant Nico.

According to Kate, her daughter jokingly told her: “All my friends are saying if Nico goes, they’re going to kill my mum!”
