Bobby Norris, the TOWIE star, has bravely opened up about his battle with body dysmorphia and his addiction to fillers, which led to him undergoing a dramatic facelift at just 39. In an emotional reveal, Bobby shared how the constant online bullying, including being called a “hamster,” pushed him to undergo the extreme surgery. “I knew I had to go under the knife. I didn’t want to look 19, I needed to correct my own stupidity,” he confessed. The years of filler abuse had left his face irreparably stretched, and Bobby admits he might have body dysmorphia as a result. The TOWIE star revealed that his insecurities were exacerbated further by cruel trolls who poked fun at his appearance after he'd spent years abusing filler (pictured following surgery earlier this year)

His recent surgery, which he had done in Turkey, involved lifting and repositioning the muscles and skin around his face, neck, and eyes, giving him a more youthful appearance. Despite the pain and discomfort during his recovery, Bobby is adamant that the surgery was necessary to fix the damage he had done to himself over the years.

Bobby’s journey with fillers started over a decade ago, but it wasn’t until the pandemic that he truly reflected on the changes he had made to his appearance. After seeing old TOWIE episodes, Bobby realized how far he had gone with altering his looks, and it prompted him to remove all the fillers and correct the damage. “I could see what trolls had been saying for years… I had crossed a line,” he admitted.

Despite his transformation, Bobby is not ruling out further surgery. He acknowledges that his struggle with body dysmorphia is ongoing, and while he’s taking things one step at a time, he isn’t sure if this will be his last procedure.

For Bobby, being honest about his journey is key. “Do whatever makes you happy, but with fillers, you can cross a line,” he warns. His story serves as a powerful reminder of the impact of body image struggles and the importance of self-acceptance.
