The 54-year-old Property Ladder presenter spoke openly about the “bumps in the road” that have tested their relationship, admitting that while they have their fair share of arguments, their love is still strong. She told OK! Magazine, “There are days when I don’t fancy him, and divorce seems like a good idea. But then we’re in the garden holding hands, and we both know we love each other.”

Sarah also shared that her children have noticed the tension in their relationship. “My children sometimes say, ‘You and Dad argue a lot,’” she revealed. “But the next minute they see us holding hands, and they know we love each other. It’s healthy for them to see that.”

Sarah, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022 and underwent gruelling chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, also reflected on the tough times they’ve been through, including when her marriage was on the rocks due to her illness. She explained that during her recovery, she joked that her marriage was “hanging by a thread,” but now clarifies it was meant as a joke. “It hasn’t been perfect all along, but what relationship is?” she added, emphasizing that the challenges they’ve faced have made their bond stronger.

Despite their differences, Sarah and Graham, who met when she was 19 and married in 2002, continue to keep the spark alive in their relationship. Sarah even admitted that they’ve never said “I love you” to one another, making it an inside joke between the couple. “We used to laugh at friends who’d say ‘I love you’ after one date and then break up the next day,” she revealed. “Not saying it became part of our routine.”

Sarah, who was declared cancer-free in 2023, recently shared her emotional journey in her documentary Sarah Beeny vs. Cancer, where she opened up about her battle with the disease and the impact it had on her family.

The couple’s story is a reminder that even in the most enduring relationships, there are moments of tension, but it’s the ability to navigate those rough patches together that defines the strength of their love.
