Coronation Street icon Beverley Callard has shared a concerning update on her breast cancer journey. The 69-year-old I’m A Celebrity star revealed that recent test results have left her doctors “a little concerned.”
Beverley, who first went public with her diagnosis in February, posted a video on Instagram with her husband Jon, explaining she will soon begin radiotherapy. She said:
“Well, I went to the hospital today and they all seemed very nice, obviously they’re new to me. They are a little concerned because they think I should’ve started radiotherapy before now, but of course, because we moved house, it took a while for my medical records to come from England to Ireland. But they’ve all arrived.”
Looking ahead, she will return on Thursday to meet more doctors before starting treatment. In her caption, she added:
“A trip to the breast clinic today… It went okay. Not quite what I wanted to hear but a step forward nonetheless. Hoping to get started as soon as possible!”
Fans quickly flooded the post with love and support: “Positive vibes, Beverley 💖,” “You’ve got this, darling 👏,” and “We have the most amazing healthcare workers. Everything will work out for you.”
Beverley’s openness continues to inspire, showing her courage and determination as she navigates this difficult chapter.
