Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech Welcome Their Third Baby, a Boy: ‘We’re Absolutely Over the Moon’

Meghan McCain and her husband Ben Domenech have joyfully welcomed their third child together, a baby boy named Ransom McCain Domenech, born on January 2. The couple, already parents to daughters Liberty, 5, and Clover, 2, shared their excitement exclusively with PEOPLE.

“Everyone is happy, healthy and exhausted,” Meghan told PEOPLE. “We’re absolutely over the moon that our baby boy is here.” She also expressed gratitude to the medical staff for their care and noted that Liberty and Clover are thrilled to have a baby brother.

Meghan previously shared her pregnancy news in June 2025 and candidly discussed her excitement and nerves about adding a third child while speaking with Usha Vance on her podcast. Reflecting on her parenting style, Meghan emphasized simplicity and cherishing each moment with her children. “I feel so lucky just to have children because I didn’t know if I was ever going to be able to have children,” she said.

The former The View co-host described her life as being in a “really sweet spot” and stressed the importance of living fully in the moment, appreciating the joys of parenting even when it isn’t glamorous.

The family is now celebrating their new addition, welcoming Ransom into a home filled with love, laughter, and plenty of little hands ready to shower him with affection.
