Tommy Fury has reportedly been left “devastated” after being forced to leave Molly-Mae Hague and their newborn baby just one day after she gave birth.

The boxer, 27, is said to have flown back to Manchester by private jet on Thursday, less than 24 hours after Molly-Mae, also 27, welcomed their second child.

Tommy is currently preparing for his upcoming fight against retired strongman Eddie Hall, which is scheduled to take place on June 13.

A source claimed the decision was extremely difficult for the new dad, explaining that although Tommy was heartbroken to leave, he knew he had to return to training with the fight now less than two weeks away.

“He’s absolutely devastated,” the insider said. “But his fight is so close, and he knows he has to focus on his training.”

Molly-Mae is also said to be upset by the situation, but she is reportedly being supported by her family and understands why Tommy had to leave.

The source added that Tommy is planning to keep close to his newborn while away by setting up a screen with the baby camera streaming live, helping him stay connected during training.

“It’s going to be hard, but it’s the only way,” the insider said.

The family are expected to reunite after the weekend when Molly-Mae and the children return to their home in Cheshire.

The couple, who first met on Love Island, announced the arrival of their second child on Instagram with a touching black-and-white photo from hospital.

The sweet image showed Molly-Mae sitting in bed with the newborn, their three-year-old daughter Bambi, and proud dad Tommy beside them.

Their caption simply read: “…and then there were 4.”

Fans and celebrity friends quickly flooded the comments with congratulations.

Stacey Solomon wrote: “Congratulations guys,” alongside red heart emojis, while Maura Higgins added: “Congratulations again. So happy for you all.”

It was previously claimed that Tommy made a dramatic dash to the hospital after Molly-Mae went into labour, travelling by private jet from his training camp to make sure he arrived in time for the birth.

A source said Molly-Mae had been worried he might miss the special moment, but Tommy managed to be there when their baby arrived.

“The baby is absolutely perfect,” the insider said. “Molly is exhausted but doing well. She’s so glad Tommy made it down for the birth.”

Molly-Mae had earlier told fans she would be giving birth at London’s Portland Hospital, the celebrity-favourite maternity hospital where Meghan Markle welcomed her first son, Archie.

In her final video before giving birth, posted on Tuesday, Molly-Mae proudly showed off her baby bump as she prepared for the arrival of her second child.

Tommy could be heard praising her pregnancy journey, saying he did not think anyone could have handled pregnancy better than she had, both times.

Now, as Molly-Mae adjusts to life as a mum of two, Tommy faces the difficult task of balancing family heartbreak with professional duty ahead of one of the biggest moments in his boxing career.
