Fearne Cotton has opened up about “dealing with certain stressful things” in a candid Instagram update on Wednesday, amid news that her ex-husband Jesse Wood is preparing to welcome his fifth child with Made In Chelsea star Gemma Gregory.

It has been a tumultuous period for the broadcaster following her split from Jesse, 49, eighteen months ago. The former couple share two children, son Rex, 12, and daughter Honey, nine.
In a heartwarming moment, Fearne recounted a stranger writing a poem for her and her daughter while out in London. She explained: “So something really lovely happened today… a good reminder that there are good eggs out there and lovely things can happen if you are open to them… I’m juggling all sorts, also dealing with certain stressful things I’m trying to grow and learn through rather than drowning.”
During the encounter, an elderly man complimented her daughter’s red hair and handed them a magical poem, wishing them happiness and smiles. Fearne laughed and shared the moment with her followers, describing it as a joyful and touching experience.
Meanwhile, Jesse and Gemma are settling into their first home together and preparing to welcome their new baby. Gemma recently shared snaps of their new house and her baby bump, calling it a “new chapter together.”
Despite Jesse’s famous Rolling Stones lineage, financial difficulties have emerged since his divorce from Fearne. He previously admitted to living on barely £1,000 a month and struggling for work. Company accounts show Jesse’s business is in significant debt, and he has no claim to the former marital home in Richmond, valued at £3.15 million.
This heartfelt glimpse into Fearne’s life highlights her resilience, her focus on family, and the small magical moments that bring light during stressful times.
