Joy Behar was left visibly stunned after co-star Ana Navarro made a shocking revelation about her 85-year-old father’s romantic life during a lively on-air discussion on The View spin-off The Weekend View.
Ana, 53, opened up about her widowed father Augusto Navarro while the panel discussed how gossip spreads in small towns, revealing that his love life has become the subject of constant talk in their community.
She explained that since her mother’s passing in 2021, her father — now 85 — has been involved in ongoing relationship drama that she finds difficult to deal with publicly.
When asked by Joy Behar why it bothered her, Ana initially refused to go into detail, insisting she did not want to discuss the situation further.
However, the conversation escalated when co-host Sunny Hostin hinted there was more to the story, prompting Ana to shut it down again, saying: “I’m not going to go into this!”
Sunny described the situation as “messy and juicy,” while the panel attempted to get more details out of Ana about her father’s dating life.
Ana then delivered the shock moment of the segment, revealing that her father’s girlfriends are “younger than five of his six grandchildren,” leaving the table visibly stunned.

Ana also noted that she would feel more comfortable if her father dated someone closer to his own age.
Her mother Violeta passed away in 2021 after 60 years of marriage to Augusto, a loss Ana has previously described as deeply emotional.
