Jeremy Clarkson has shared a deeply personal look at how life has changed since his battle with aggressive prostate cancer, revealing the lifestyle adjustments he’s made and his desire to spend more time with his family.
The 66-year-old Clarkson’s Farm star, now in remission, told The Sunday Times that seeing his grandchildren grow up has become a top priority. “I really like seeing my grandchildren. I want to watch them grow up,” he said.
The former Top Gear presenter described slowing down his pace, taking regular walks, and adopting a more vegetarian-friendly diet as part of his post-cancer routine.
Clarkson, who shares three children—Emily, Finlo, and Katya—with ex-wife Frances Cain, is especially close to his eldest daughter Emily and her children Arlo, three, and Xanthe, one, who have visited his Diddly Squat Farm.

“I drive much more slowly. I’m a bit of a dawdler. I go for walks a lot. I have vegetarian food,” Clarkson admitted, underscoring how the experience has reshaped his outlook on life.
The star revealed his diagnosis during the fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm, and candidly shared the challenges of resuming his medications, including blood thinners for heart issues, which led to a frightening emergency just weeks after his cancer operation.

“Two or three weeks after the cancer operation, I thought I’d better put myself back on those blood thinners. Big mistake, huge,” he said, reflecting on the unexpected risks he faced.
Despite these scares, Clarkson now calls himself “the luckiest man in the world” and has urged men to take their health seriously. “This is why I have to say to everybody: get checked. Early detection can be life-saving,” he added.

The star’s honesty has resonated with fans, many of whom have praised his openness about health, family, and the importance of living life with purpose after facing life-threatening illness.
