Gordon Ramsay Confesses He’s ‘Secretly Petrified’ About Becoming a Grandad as Daughter Holly Reveals Pregnancy

Gordon Ramsay has admitted he’s feeling a mix of nerves and excitement after his daughter Holly announced she’s expecting a baby girl with husband Adam Peaty this December. The celebrity chef, 56, described the prospect of becoming a grandfather for the first time as “secretly petrifying,” joking that he won’t exactly be helping with the breastfeeding.

Speaking to Gary Lineker on his Netflix show The Rest Is Football, Gordon said:
“Until they can talk and communicate with you, you can’t do much. We’re not going to f**ing breastfeed, are we?”*

Despite his fears, the star quickly shared his joy online, commenting on Holly’s announcement:
“Congratulations to you both sending lots of love Dad ❤️. I’m going to be a very overexcited Grandad especially this Christmas @hollyramsaypeaty @adamramsaypeaty.”

Holly, 25, and Olympic swimmer Adam, 31, tied the knot in a lavish Bath Abbey wedding in December 2025. The couple has already faced family tensions, with Adam reportedly banning his parents from attending the ceremony. Despite the drama, Gordon and his wife Tana have fully embraced Adam as part of the family, with him calling them “dad” and “mum.”

Holly also shared the happy news on social media, showing off her growing baby bump in a Calvin Klein bralette, captioning the post: “Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026. We can’t wait to meet our baby girl.”

Gordon’s excitement comes alongside the release of the family’s six-part documentary, which showcases his restaurant ventures and a glimpse of Holly and Adam’s engagement celebrations. The star joked that while his speech at Holly’s wedding included a sly dig at Adam’s absent parents, it was all delivered with love.

“It’s tough, honestly. Being the dad with three daughters, you dream of that moment, and that moment arrives and you’re just like a hot mess,” Gordon said. “But the speech was perfect, it went well, and you’ve got to find that… you’ve got to be warm and emotional. It’s a tough gig.”Gordon has also shared his excitement that he's set to become a grandfather for the first time

With the festive season approaching, the Ramsay family is gearing up to welcome their newest little member — and Gordon couldn’t be more thrilled… even if he’s a little nervous about diaper duty.
