Love Island USA Season 8 Confirms Final Four Couples Ahead of Grand Finale
After weeks of shifting relationships, emotional conversations and dramatic decisions, Love Island USA Season 8 has officially revealed the four couples who will compete in the final.
The final lineup was confirmed during the Friday, July 10 episode, just two days before the season finale airs on Sunday, July 12.:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():focal(999x0:1001x2):format(webp)/Love-Island-Season-8-Finalists-081026-2d89cb835cc84b7b89c127b9bf7126dc.jpg)
Six couples entered the latest episode still hoping to secure a place in the final: Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff, Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou, Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt, Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea, KC Chandler and Tierra Davis, and Kenzie Annis and Dylan Wrona.
Their futures were ultimately decided by viewers, who were asked to vote for their favorite couples.
Finalists Revealed in Emotional Villa Ceremony
The results were delivered through a lighthearted fortune cookie ceremony, with each couple opening a message that revealed whether they had received enough public support to remain in the competition.
Aniya and Carl were the first pair confirmed as safe. Trinity and Bryce were announced next, followed by Melanie and Sincere.
That left Kenzie and Dylan, Kayda and Zach, and KC and Tierra waiting to discover their fate.
Kenzie and Dylan were eventually told that their journey had come to an end. Kayda, Zach, KC and Tierra then opened their messages together, with KC and Tierra becoming the second couple eliminated from the villa.:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():focal(999x0:1001x2):format(webp)/Love-Island-Season-8-081026-1-e83dfc0b1c094068b7d144e116f1597d.jpg)
The result confirmed that Aniya and Carl, Trinity and Bryce, Melanie and Sincere, and Kayda and Zach will compete in the Season 8 final.
Emotional Goodbyes as Four Islanders Leave
The remaining contestants gathered to say goodbye as the eliminated islanders prepared to leave the villa.
Kenzie thanked the group for the experience and said she felt grateful for the friendships she had made during the season.
KC also reflected positively on his time in the competition, explaining that seeing the other islanders happy meant a great deal to him. He added that although he was leaving the show, he was doing so in a relationship with Tierra.
The departures marked one of the final major turning points of the season as the remaining couples moved closer to the public vote that will determine the winners.
Family Day Brings Honest Reactions
The finalist announcement followed the season’s Family Day episode, during which the islanders were reunited with relatives and introduced their partners to the people closest to them.:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():focal(975x202:977x204)/love-island-usa-season-7-main-061125-3663ebd10f644bd3b288732d9094a17e.jpg)
The visits brought a mixture of support, encouragement and difficult conversations.
Melanie and Sincere were joined by members of both families, including Sincere’s father and brother, along with Melanie’s mother and sister.
During the visit, Sincere’s father expressed concern about some of his son’s actions during the show and described the reunion as an important moment of reflection.
Melanie’s sister also encouraged her to think carefully about what she deserved from a relationship.
The family conversations gave both contestants and viewers a clearer picture of how the couples’ relationships were perceived outside the villa.
Different Paths to the Final
The four finalist couples have taken very different routes through the competition.
Only a small number of the contestants who remained before the vote had entered through Casa Amor, including Carl, Tierra and Dylan.
Other relationships began much earlier in the season. Melanie and Sincere, Kayda and Zach, and Trinity and Bryce formed connections during the opening stages of the competition.
Kayda originally arrived as one of the season’s first bombshell contestants before later developing her relationship with Zach.
With the final four now confirmed, viewers will have the final say on which couple leaves the villa as the Season 8 winners.
The Love Island USA Season 8 finale is scheduled to air Sunday, July 12, at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
