Kenny Martin claimed that Lindsay Hubbard is “good at deflecting” on In the City, and he called out his good friend Gavin Moseley for being “on Lindsay’s lap” at the reunion. Gavin and Lindsay then clapped back.
After castmate Yvonne Najor’s wedding dinner, Lindsay was accused of triggering a fight about the demise of Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s marriage. But Lindsay was disappointed in Yvonne for not having her back. At the reunion, Gavin seemingly supported Lindsay instead of Kenny amid their ongoing feud.
Speaking to ET, Kenny shared his thoughts on Lindsay.
“She’s good for TV, but she definitely will take shots out of left field,” he said. “And then when you come back at her or call her out, then it’s a little bit of a shift. … Then all of a sudden, [she’s] very good at deflecting and redirecting.”
“Like finger-pointing,” added Kenny’s girlfriend, Whitney Fransway.
Later on, reporter Brice Sander asked Kenny to expand on his claim at the reunion that Lindsay “collect[s] apologies like [she] collects souls.”
“There’s been multiple scenarios throughout the season where somebody will call her out for poor behavior, and all of a sudden that person is flipped into … attacking her in some kind of way,” said Kenny. “And then she’s asking for an apology.”
According to Kenny, this happened amid Yvonne’s wedding.
“When we got to the house, Yvonne was almost apologizing to Lindsay at the house,” he said. “[She has] 10 years of experience [on reality TV]. She’s a professional, but she does collect apologies like she collects souls.”
“Whose soul from your cast did she collect?” asked Brice.
“Whose did she not collect?” answered Kenny.
Around the same time on Threads, Kenny responded to fan account @queensofbravo as they questioned why Kenny’s best friend Gavin was “at times leading the charge to question Kenny and Whitney’s relationship … [as if he’s] pulling at a thread that isn’t actually there.”
Kenny reacted in a comment, “I’m surprised the seating chart didn’t have Gavin directly on Lindsay’s lap.”
Soon after, Gavin clapped back by posting an Instagram photo of himself literally on Lindsay’s lap.
“You come at the short king, you better not miss,” wrote Gavin in the caption.
In the comments, Kenny reacted, “☠️☠️ lol damn. bidding really does go to the most followers 😔.”
