Ariana Biermann addressed the “sad” situation with her dad, Kroy Biermann, concerning his divorce from her mom, Kim Zolciak. Around the same time, a source shared that Ariana and Charlie Zakkour indeed “hooked up” amid filming for Next Gen NYC.
Recently, Bravo released the show’s midseason trailer. In it, Charlie told his friend Shai Fruchter that “Ariana came over to sesh,” and that Shai should “clutch your pearls, bro.” Emira D’Spain later claimed that Ariana gave up her seat in first class to sit with Charlie. But Ariana, who had just broken up with her boyfriend Hudson, denied that there was any kind of romance.
For several years now, Ariana’s parents have been in a contentious divorce. Both sides have made intense accusations against the other, as the exes continue to co-parent their minor children.
Speaking with Us Weekly, Ariana was asked if she’s sad that Kroy might not be at her sister Brielle’s upcoming wedding.
“I think it’s really sad. I’m sad that it all got to this point,” she answered. “I’ve said for a while, I’m like, ‘Well, no one’s gonna ask anybody for my hand in marriage because there’s nobody to ask.’”
“I’m very grateful for all the things he did for me growing up, how he helped me, and the lessons he taught me. I wouldn’t be who I am without him. But the things that have happened over the last few years are just heartbreaking,” she said. “I have not spoken to him in a while. … We’ve tried. It’s not that he’s not reaching out either. It’s just, I don’t understand. It’s very hard.”
Ariana said he’s “making up” these “insane things” about Kim.
“And you think that I’m gonna have a relationship with you and talk s**t about my mom and agree with what you’re saying?” she asked. “I think she did a pretty damn good job. I mean, look at me and my sister. I think we’re doing pretty well today. My mom is an incredible woman, and I will never let someone come in here and try to disrespect her. Not everyone knows the full story, and there’s a lot to be said … just at a different time. We’re all just trying to protect my four younger siblings.”
Meanwhile, a source told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea that something indeed happened between Ariana and Charlie while filming.
“Ariana and Charlie hooked up,” said the insider, who insisted that the trailer doesn’t show the full story. “It did happen and the situation will play out in the second half of the season.”
