Princess Andre has offered one of her most candid reflections yet on life with her famous mother, Katie Price, revealing that she deliberately avoids following the headlines surrounding Katie’s often turbulent love life and admitting that a recent family documentary placed her and brother Junior in an incredibly difficult emotional position.
The emotional revelations come in the opening episode of The Princess Diaries season three, where the 19-year-old influencer speaks honestly about growing up in one of Britain’s most talked-about celebrity families.
“I Don’t Even Follow It”
Katie Price’s relationships have dominated headlines for years, and 2026 has been no exception.
After marrying Lee Andrews in January following a whirlwind romance, Katie has found herself surrounded by controversy as her husband became embroiled in fraud allegations and legal troubles in Dubai. Yet despite the constant media attention, Princess says she intentionally distances herself from the drama.

Speaking during the reality series, she explained:
“Mum’s in Dubai right now to see her husband and to be honest I don’t really know much about it.”
She continued:
“I’ve never met him but mum’s love life is everywhere at the moment.”
Rather than keeping up with every headline, Princess admitted she has chosen to protect her own peace.
“Mum’s love life stories are quite extreme and honestly I don’t even follow it myself, but as long as my mum’s happy, we’re happy, and that’s all that matters.”
Her comments suggest a remarkably mature outlook, choosing not to judge her mother’s decisions despite years of public scrutiny.
“Her Life Is Chaos”
Princess also reflected on the demanding lifestyle Katie continues to live.
While speaking affectionately about her mother, she acknowledged that Katie rarely gets the chance to slow down.
“Mum never has time to relax, her life is chaos.”
Katie herself also appears in the episode, offering heartfelt advice to Princess and Junior about fame, wealth and trusting the people around them.
Drawing from her own experiences, she tells her children:
“It’s good to have money but it doesn’t bring you happiness, it’s the people around you that bring you happiness.”
She continues:
“When you’ve got money you attract the wrong people.”
Katie hopes the difficult experiences her children witnessed while growing up have taught them an important lesson.
“Hopefully you will have learnt to keep your circle small.”
A Family Finally Together on Screen
Season three marks a significant milestone for The Princess Diaries.
For the first time, both Katie Price and Peter Andre appear in the same series after publicly ending years of tension earlier this year.
Princess jokingly acknowledged the unusual situation in the opening episode.
“What could possibly go wrong?”
Despite the light-hearted remark, she makes it clear that family remains her biggest priority.
“I will always put my family first.”
The Documentary That Changed Everything
One of the most emotional moments comes as Princess discusses Katie’s documentary Nothing To Hide, which revisited some of the darkest years of their family life.
She admits filming the project created an uncomfortable situation for both her and Junior.
“It has put us in a really awkward situation.”
Princess explained they wanted to support both parents equally.
“We want to support our mum, we want to support our dad.”
The documentary saw both siblings revisit painful memories from Katie’s highly publicised struggles with addiction and mental health following the breakdown of her marriage to Kieran Hayler.
Revisiting Childhood Trauma
Perhaps the most heartbreaking scenes featured Princess and Junior recalling the years when Katie was battling cocaine addiction and severe depression.
Junior described it as the hardest period of his life.
“That was probably the most difficult time of my life.”
Princess admitted she often felt completely alone.
“I didn’t know what was going on and I couldn’t talk to mum about it because she wasn’t there.”
The siblings revealed they often had to care for themselves as well as younger brother Jett and sister Bunny while Katie struggled with her health.
Junior emotionally remembered trying to prepare meals despite still being a child himself.
“I remember me trying to figure out if food was microwavable to feed us for dinner.”
Princess shared one especially moving memory that has stayed with her ever since.
She recalled how Katie would spray perfume onto a blanket before leaving home.
“She’d give me a blanket and spray her perfume on it.”
The blanket became her way of feeling close to her mother.
“I used to cuddle the blanket and cry.”
Junior’s Painful Decision
As Katie’s addiction worsened, Junior eventually chose to leave the family home and move in with his father, Peter Andre.
Looking back, he admitted witnessing Katie under the influence remains one of the most frightening memories of his childhood.
He recalled waking up late at night to see his mother return home while clearly struggling.
Eventually, he realised the environment was no longer healthy.
“I needed to get out.”
Princess, however, chose to remain with Katie because she wanted to support her despite everything.
“I always wanted to be there for her.”
