It didn’t take long for Ant and Dec to get in on the drama that still has everyone talking – and this time, it was all about the chaos from the I’m A Celebrity… South Africa final. The Britain’s Got Talent live show returned on April 25, and the hosts wasted no time throwing a cheeky dig at the explosive drama from the night before.
From David Haye and Jimmy Bullard accusing Adam Thomas of “abusive” behaviour to Gemma Collins trying to break up an argument, I’m A Celebrity delivered its most chaotic finale yet. And just hours after the final aired on April 24, Ant and Dec couldn’t help but throw in a witty remark about it all.
As the Britain’s Got Talent show kicked off with a dazzling performance from Alexandra Burke and the cast of I’m Every Woman Musical, Ant and Dec quickly turned their attention to the panel of judges – KSI, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Simon Cowell.
But it was Ant’s comment that had everyone laughing: “Now, judges, I just want to be serious for a second,” he said, before slyly adding, “We had quite enough drama on TV last night, so can you please, you four, be on your best behaviour tonight!”
Dec didn’t miss a beat and followed up with a sharp jab aimed at Sinitta, who stormed off the I’m A Celebrity set during the chaotic finale. “Yes, if you’re naughty, if you misbehave, you’ll be out quicker than Sinitta,” he quipped, causing the audience to burst into laughter.
Things took a playful turn when Amanda Holden was handed the live Golden Buzzer. When asked if she could handle the pressure, she confidently replied, “After watching your extraordinary performance last night, boys, I’ve learned from the best. I can handle the pressure. I’m really excited because I know we’ve got a cracking show ahead.”
