Jesy Nelson has shared a heartwarming new snapshot of her twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, enjoying physiotherapy in the park. The Little Mix singer, 34, who gave birth to her girls last year, revealed that both have been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1.

Making the most of sunny weather, Jesy brought along a picnic blanket and baby mats to guide her daughters through gentle leg exercises designed to build muscle strength. Ocean and Story wore matching red-and-white gingham outfits, looking at each other with adorable smiles, while Jesy dressed casually in a white tube top, colorful plaid trousers, and a light brown baseball cap.

The photo was posted on Instagram with the caption: “Physio in the park,” accompanied by a short video of Jesy having fun on a park zip wire.
This post comes shortly after Jesy celebrated her twins’ first birthday, sharing a reel of touching moments, balloons, and pastel decorations. She wrote: “Happy Birthday my Ocean and Story you are my whole heart and soul I love you more than you will ever know.”
Jesy’s daughters are co-parented with rapper and singer Zion Foster, who she began dating in 2022 and got engaged to last year. They later split following the devastating diagnosis, but remain committed to co-parenting.
SMA is a rare muscle-wasting condition that will likely prevent the twins from walking unaided and requires specialist equipment for feeding and breathing at night. Jesy’s advocacy has led to SMA testing for newborns being debated in Parliament, with a session scheduled for June 22.
