Barbara Eden, the beloved star of I Dream of Jeannie, left fans in awe with her stunning appearance in a new photo taken with her husband, architect Jon Eicholtz. Despite being 94, Eden’s youthful glow was undeniable as the couple celebrated Easter together, both sporting adorable bunny ears.
“Happy Easter from us bunnies!” Eden captioned the heartwarming Instagram post, adding, “We hope it’s been beautiful and full of joy! -B & J #happyeaster #easter #easterbunny #barbaraeden.”
Her fans couldn’t get enough of how ageless she looked. One fan asked, “U haven’t aged a day since your show was on. What’s your secret?” Others echoed the sentiment, with one commenting, “Looking ageless.” Another fan wrote, “Beautiful lady I say, always has been and even more beautiful now.”
Fans were curious about Eden’s secret to maintaining her youthful appearance, so she shared how she stays in shape during a 2024 interview. “I used to work out all the time,” she revealed. “I used to do spinning classes and weights with a trainer. But when COVID hit, that ended my heavy workouts. Now, I have a stationary bicycle and I lift five-pound weights, which are good for your bones.”
Eden also emphasized the importance of walking. “If you can walk briskly, it’s great for you. It’s better for your knees and ankles than running,” she explained. Along with regular physical activity, Eden maintains healthy eating habits, a philosophy she learned from her parents. “My mother’s mantra was ‘moderation of all things.’ That’s how they lived, and that’s how I’ve lived.”
Barbara Eden and Jon Eicholtz have been married since 1991, and Eden shares a son, Matthew Ansara, with her first husband, actor Michael Ansara. Sadly, Matthew passed away in 2001.
