Kim DePaola claimed a source told her that Real Housewives of New Jersey production allegedly feels “responsible” for Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband Joe Giudice going to “jail.” Kim also revealed the “deal” Teresa allegedly made with the show before she likely “leave[s] for Florida.”

In 2014, Teresa went to prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud. Her then-husband Joe went to prison shortly after, and he’s now no longer allowed in the U.S. even though his immediate family still lives there. In the past, reports surfaced that Teresa was first investigated because she filmed a scene using a large sum of cash during a shopping trip.

On Get Real with Kim D., Kim shared that a source told her why Teresa gets certain passes on RHONJ.

“[This person was] talking about the fact that Teresa doesn’t want to talk about the Milania situation [on the new season],” said Kim, referring to the recent arrest of Teresa’s daughter Milania. “And I said, ‘Whoa, here we go again … They give her a lot of passes.’ And the person said, ‘Well, there’s a reason for that. … Because they feel a little responsible for what happened to [Teresa].”

“[As if] they had something to do with the fact that, you know, [she and Joe Giudice] went to jail,” Kim added. “[Like] they kind of pushed it because they’re the ones who told her to use the cash at the furniture store. That’s why she gets the bigger pass than the other people that have been on.”

She then addressed Teresa’s claim last year that she didn’t have to test-shoot with potential newbies because she’s like a professor who doesn’t need to take any test.

“When the girls … Margaret, Melissa, and Dolores were testing, and Teresa was running around saying she’s a professor, she was not being considered [at that time],” said Kim.

“[But] while [Teresa] was in Spain, a deal was made … ‘Let me come back for the last year, and it’ll be my exit year, and I’ll leave on my own terms,’” Kim continued. “And probably [their] house is gonna go up for auction, and they’re gonna leave for Florida.”
